Duffy Assembly

Today the author of Doug the Digger came to talk to our assembly. He talked about how he wrote the book which was very cool! We will be bringing home our new Duffy books today.

Patrick was our fantastic kaiawhina today.

Mr Skelton's last day:(

Sadly Mr Skelton must go back to university, so we have had to say goodbye to him. He has brought a lot of fun and games to our learning and we will miss him. The children were given glow sticks and play dough as a goodbye present! Lucky!!

Oobleck

Today we made oobleck with Mr Skelton! It felt really weird because it was runny, then it was hard, then it was runny again...

Eggs

We are looking at the letter e this week. Today we made scrambled eggs. They were delicious. Follow our recipe if you like!

Worm Farms

We were allowed to bring home our worm farms that we made yesterday. We are going to grow grass on top of them!

Growing Things

We are studying plants and how things grow at the moment. It's a great interactive topic as you can imagine. Here's a photo of our sunflowers still hidden in the soil in our gumboots!
